I recently booked a resort reservation and the first email I received from Disney (after the confirmation) was one titled “Minimize Attraction Wait Time.” I’m certain that if I was a first timer heading to Walt Disney World, I would be a little concerned. They are already warning me that I will be waiting in lines.

The intent of this email was to inform me that I could start booking my FastPass selections for a trip in December. It goes on to tell me that I can “make up to 3 advance selections at one Theme Park per day.” So knowing what I know, this will account for three rides and conservatively an hour of my park day (time in the FastPass line plus the attraction length). The parks are open 12 hours… so am I expected to stand in line the rest of the time?
